Dear Parents, Parents are requested to note the following: 1. As the Education Bureau has announced that class suspension of all schools will be extended after schools' Easter holidays, and class resumption will not be earlier than 20/4/2020 (Mon). 2. Our school Easter holidays remain unchanged from 10/4/2020 (Friday) to 21/4/2020 (Tuesday), and 22/4/2020 (Wednesday) is the school's class resumption day. 3. Due to the epidemic situation, there have been many cases of infection in many regions around the world up to now. Therefore, our school recommends that all parents and students stay in Hong Kong during the Easter period in order to avoid the need for "self" or "forced" isolation after returning to Hong Kong and affect the class resumption. 4. School calendar update: * The Sports Day on 29/4/2020 (Wed) will be cancelled and changed to normal school day instead. * The examinations will be held from 26/6/2020 (Fri) to 3/7/2020 (Fri). Secondary Section: from 26/6/2020 (Fri) to 3/7/2020 (Fri); Primary Section: 29/6/2020 (Mon) to 3/7/2020 (Fri). * The graduation ceremony will be postponed to 17/7/2020 (Wed). * School summer holidays remain unchanged. 5. From 26/2/2020 (Wed.) to 9/4/2020 (Thu.), our school will help our students continue to study on the principle of "suspending classes without suspending learning". The teachers of our primary section (Chinese, English, Mathematics, and Regular) and Secondary section (Chinese, English, Mathematics, and General Studies) will give our students weekly homework for a total of six weeks. The distribution ways of learning materials include: Google drive (S: Teacher-Student shared folder), e-learning platform (google classroom), email, WhatsApp, WeChat, etc. If individual students need the school to send homework by mail, please contact the class teacher. After the school organizes the work, the homework will be sent on Fridays or Saturdays. Parents are requested to urge their children to complete their homework at home every week. The homework must be returned to the teacher to evaluate and mark, so that the teacher can understand the progress of the classmates and make calculations of their daily marks of the 2nd term. 6. During the class suspension period, the teachers of Chinese, English, Mathematics, Liberal Studies, General Studies and Speech and Communication of each class at all levels will provide students with online teaching activities once a week. The teaching period starts from 9/3 to 9/4 for a total of five weeks. . In addition, the school does not recommend that students go back to school to make up lessons, except for the M6 students sitting for HKDSE exam. 7. The school has received 1,400 masks from kind people, and will send out masks in batches to support parents and students. Each family will have 20 masks.
