Our school has received the invitation of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited to help to promote the company’s benefiting community activity, Power Connect Programme. The programme will mainly grant qualified persons one-off HK$500 electricity subsidies, which will be deposited at the end of August this year to the CLP’s registered accounts designated in the application forms by the applicants. It also encourages the society to save electricity. According to CLP’s information, the eligibility of the programme is shown below, and the related documents are required. 1. The programme applicants should be residential customers currently living within the supply area of CLP POWER, including Kowloon, the New Territories, Lantau Island, Peng Chau, Cheung Chau and other islands district, and need to submit a copy of their electricity bills. 2. To simplify the documentation process, taking the registration card of people with disabilities will be only treated as proof of eligibility this year. It is specifically stated that our school only collects forms on behalf of the parents. Whether the application is successful or not depends on the CLP's decision. In addition, if there is any change in the information of the application form, please sign again near the change in confirmation of it. Any parents who want to participate in the programme are required to return the application forms and the relevant documents to the school during the school’s opening hours before 30th March, 2020, who will forward them to CLP and help to finish their applications. Any enquiries, please contact the class teacher and social worker.
